That leaves these coal towns facing some serious challenges. It’s not just about jobs disappearing; it’s about the whole community struggling.
Reimagining Coal Country: It’s All About the Phoenix
So, what can be done? The good news is, there are some seriously inspiring projects happening all over the country. Instead of letting these towns become ghost towns, people are finding innovative ways to repurpose them, often focusing on sustainability.
